Children of the Maithree Home receives gifts from Australia.

Children of the Maithree Home were gifted with Kids Disney back packs by generous donors from Australia in collaboration with the SriLankan Airlines office in Sydney as well as Qantas Airways. In addition to the back packs the children were gifted with school books for the new school term by SriLankan Cares. The Maithree Lama Nivasaya houses 19 children ranging from 8 to 14 years.
