Friday, 27th October 2006, was a day of celebration for all at SriLankan Airlines, as it marked the official completion of the reconstruction of Al-Bahriya Maha Vidyalaya, the Tsunami-devastated school in Kalmunai that we helped to rebuild.
The school’s building complex was declared open by our CEO Peter Hill, together with Dr. Johannes Bussmann and Volrad von Lutzau of Lufthansa Technik and Rita Diop of Help Alliance, who flew in from Germany for this important occasion, and Dr. Roland F. Steurer of GTZ.
