Kalmunai School Project foundation stone to be laid in November

A number of donors from around the world have contributed generously towards this project. Our South African General Sales Agent, Travel Direction (Pty) Ltd has very kindly been making monthly contributions and Help Alliance, the charitable arm of Lufthansa group have agreed to donate a substantial lump sum to meet the shortfall in funding for the project. 

The architectural drawings for the school were done free-of-charge by MICD Chartered Architects and the Ministry of Education has already approved the architectural plans.

Tenders were called by public advertisement on the 2nd of October and the closing date was the 22nd of October. We are still in the process of evaluating the tenders.

The foundation stone for the project is expected to be laid in the middle of November this year.
