SriLankan Airlines hereby invites Tenders for the Supply and Delivery of garbage bags for onboard use.
The Tender document is attached herewith. Completed Tenders shall be submitted in sealed envelopes with the Tender Number clearly marked on the top left hand corner of the envelope addressed to Senior Manager Procurement and Printing, SriLankan Airlines Limited, Airline Centre, Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, Sri Lanka by 1200 hours (Sri Lankan time) on 31/03/2010.
The Tender Acknowledgement form attached to the document must be completed and returned by fax to +94 (0) 19733 5225 or e-mail to anjula.p@srilankan.aero within three (03) days after receiving this document.
All Tenders shall require a minimum refundable bid bond of LKR 300,000 or USD 3000. Tenderers shall enclose this deposit with their tender in the form of an unconditional irrevocable bank guarantee drawn at sight in favour of SriLankan Airlines Limited, valid for a period of 120 days from the tender closing date. Manufacturers and their authorized dealers/agents and service providers are not required to submit a bid bond. However, they are required submit a letter confirming same along with the bids.
Tenders without a bid bond will not be considered.

Bids will be opened at 1330 hrs on 31/03/2010 at Conference Room (Admin), Airline Centre, BIA, Katunayake, Sri Lanka. Bidders who choose to attend are expected to be in the premises 15 minutes prior to opening of tender. Kindly note that 01 representative per bidding company is permitted to be present at the tender opening.
