The SLCB is the governing body that provides vital support to the MICE industry by acting as the primary contact point for meeting planners, incentive operators and corporate houses. It is a non-profit making national tourist organisation that functions under the Ministry of Tourism. The Bureau provides a framework of stringent standards and will assist in the preparation of documents, the co-ordination of arrangements, the supply of promotional material and obtaining government clearances. The aim of the SLCB is to create a synergy between the exotic charm of the island and the needs of international business.
